A Brief Genealogy of Anarchist Geographies
A Brief Genealogy of Anarchist Geographies
The first chapter informs the reader of the ongoing and manifold potential for anarchist geographies. It is a review of the existing literature on anarchist literature, tracing the origins, developments, flourishings, declines, and renewals of anarchism within geography. It introduces geographical theories and argues for more practice-based imperatives where building solidarities, embracing reciprocity, and engaging in mutual aid speaks to the ‘freedom of geography’ and its latent capacity to shatter its own disciplinary circumscriptions.
